The newest member of the “1 Million Gamerscore” club, RedmptionDenied, the 5th person on the planet to reach that amazing milestone, joins us. Hosts:

Brandon Fream aka "Freamwhole" - TrueAchievements - Xbox

Tarragon Allen aka "zzUrbanSpaceman" - TrueAchievements - Xbox

Randy aka "Crandy" - TrueAchievements - Xbox

Guest:

Marshall aka “RedmptionDenied” - TrueAchievements - Xbox - Twitch

0:00:00 - Intro

  • Achievement Sponsor: Nifty 50 in F1 2010 - suggested by McLovinLegend
  • Intro RedmptionDenied - Newest Member of the 1 Million GS Club
  • Mug of the week - Sasquatch containing Earl Grey Tea by Stash
  • Pulling a Fream is spreading; the opposite (a Maerf), from alklein92201, is logging in for extra time on ROBLOX for no reason due to missed achievement notifications :)
  • March 1 tweet from @StephenKing - Dark Tower movie
  • Comments turned off on zedtozed.com due to issues (for now)
  • New Leaderboard idea (from Tarragon) - Completion percentage x TA score/ Gamerscore = new stat (I like this! - J)

00:15:00 - RedmptionDenied Interview

  • There was a plan. The “Road to 1 Million”; had 950k at the beginning of the year after GTASC 2015 (Great TA Score Challenge)
    • 2pm start of the stream, with Kinect game Just Dance 2016 - good achievement name, “Complete your Journey
    • Epic boss battle in Pier Solar, harder because he forgot the controls :)
    • Bouncing between 23 games over the course of the stream.
    • End of stream - playing Ori, 75g needed. At least that was the plan - but 40g short on re-checking gamerscore…
    • 25g short after all popped in Ori. Ended up with Alien: Isolation for final 25G.
    • Stats on TA were over 1 million GS - the missing 65g was there; but not registering increase in GS on Xbox (I had this problem with my 100k - J)
    • RedmptionDenied extremely disappointed with technical issues in the stream.
    • With the 1 million the plan was to play difficult games, survival horror is his favourite genre.
    • Lots of positive feedback from viewers and fans.
    • 5th person overall, 2nd in US to hit 1 million gamerscore.
  • Gamertag? Bonus Level in DOOM (most played game). What about the spelling? 15 character limit on Xbox! (sorry Big Ell)
  • Outside is overrated. #obligatorybigellcommentisobligatory
  • Started with Halo 3 on the 360, popping achievements.
  • Winner of GTASC 2015 individual,.
  • Overtook Rand Al Thor earlier this year
  • Still in GTASC 2016.
  • Let’s Cheer - Kinect shame :)
  • Wipe Out games (physically demanding) - shoutout to NBA Kirkland for series completion.
  • MX vs ATV: Untamed (non-Kinect, very difficult)
  • White whale achievement: Boom Boom Rocket - Sore Thumb Award
  • Next obvious goal is 1000 completions.
  • Thanks to Big Ell, McLovinLegend, spazpol, Montana7, JQ1017, MADeyePadEYE, JStryker416, angelsk (me), and Johnny Zarpentine for the questions.

  • Reformatting of the gamerscore bootcamp - Twitter Poll
  • The Potentially Endless Bean Dive has passed the 3 year mark! Wow.  MADeyePadEYE, Montana97 and seamonkeypowder are still going strong.
  • People like Jo :) Jo is happy.
  • We want the dream of being able to 100% even if we don’t ever reach it.  However, is this a good reason not to start a game? There is no wrong way to play. We all have scars. But we hate price gouging content - and we don’t want to support those games (e.g: Call of Duty and $15 map packs), especially if we’re going for achievements; however, if you put 100s of hours into it, then it’s worth it for you (Thanks Big El for the discussion point).
  • Re: last week’s video game movie discussion - I like the Mario movie (Jo), controversial, I know - but so bad it’s good :)
  • Sausage weekend….. okay…..
  • Far Cry the Movie
  • Screencheat (or screen peeking) - cool concept for a game (discussion re: Goldeneye, Oddjob was too small)
  • My favourite movie tie-in video game is the LEGO Movie Videogame :) (Jo) - “Everything is awesome” - spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
  • Quantum Break has gone gold - play it on April 5th (hopefully)
